Volunteer Fee

A volunteer fee is not required. Agreements can be made about this at the start of the volunteer work. It is not common for a volunteer to receive a volunteer allowance.
In addition, if a volunteer receives a volunteer allowance, it must declare this with the income tax.

Expenses

What sometimes happens is that volunteers receive an 'expense allowance'. This concerns, for example, telephone costs, petrol costs or fees for applying for a declaration by operation of law. However, it must be possible to submit records of this for the tax authorities. Make agreements about this in advance with the organization for which you will be volunteering.
